The Sorrow of the Fall

July 23, 2015

It's like I'm empty.

It's like there is nothing inside.

That darkness...

It's slightly comforting.

No one to see their suffer.

Enter the forest.

Give in to the shadows of the trees.

Hide.

Quiet.

Nothing.

I'm alone, yet not.

Life everywhere yet completely gone.

Moonlight guides the way while the stars trace the path.

I listen to the flight of owls through the whispering wind.

Hollow tree trunks rotting with sorrow.

I can feel the pain of life.

Unjust.

They thrive in living death.

True despair.

Never ending.

The grand finish.

Timber.

Death once again poisons our breath.
