Sky of Contradiction

February 19, 2015

Brilliant and bright, ominous colors spark thoughts

Bursting with hope and yearning

Billowing white clouds imitate majestic mountains

Reaching into endless heavens

Gazing in wonderment I watch the metamorphosis

Changing slowly as the warm glow darkens

Building and pressing upward on the grey

Gentle winds begin to forge angrily

Releasing the wrath, its tears burst, falling hard

Holding back nothing

Thrashing about, it pushes through

Cleansing its tormented soul

Sudden and silent, gleaming rays reappear

Streaking across the sky, a new start

Letting me believe again

Temporarily
