The Value of Time

April 14, 2014

In today's world, people are taught that there is never enough time.
Never enough time to travel the world.
Never enough time to take that long-awaited for vacation.
Never enough time to take leaps of faith or new chances.
Never enough time.

Why is that so?

We've put a limit on something that is limitless,
And we live by those limits.
Then, when all is said and done,
We look back and wonder where all the time went.
Wonder why we never took the risk and traveled the world,
Never took that vacation we always wanted,
Never decided to take a chance and try to live our dreams.

It's sad, how time, a once limitless notion, has been reduced to
Years,
Months,
Days,
Hours,
Minutes,
Seconds.

If I could change one thing about the world,
I would change the notion of time.
I would change how everyone feels that time is limited.
There is always enough time.
Enough time to take risks, take detours, take pitstops.
And there's enough time to live your life the way you want.

There's always enough time.
Just remember to spend your time
How you want to spend it.
