Responsibility

June 19, 2014

Responsibility is not something I can make you do,

But rather something that I can show you.

This mess you are in is all your own,

And to get out of it you might be all alone

If that is what it takes for you to understand

That responsibility is something to take hard by the hand.

Something as simple as a forgotten paper

Can lead to something a lot larger later.

So that is why it is important to do your best

From the moment you wake up to the time you lie down to rest.

So from now on do what is right.

Do not cheat and do not fight.

For being responsible not only makes you feel great,

But it will also get rid of a lot of that hate

That you had after you got busted

And everyone knew you could not be trusted.

But one day everyone will know

That what you did was foolish, but so long ago.

If you choose to take the path of responsibility,

Then people will trust you, and you will gain humility.

So now all you have to do to get out of this crime,

Is pray to God, and he will help you forward the whole time.
