Already Gone

November 7, 2012
His eyes meet mine as I walk away Begging me to stop by I see pain in his eyes Not knowing why It's there He looks out to me Asking me, begging me His eyes asking more Questions than my lips can't answer His pain speaks to me There's a story to tell Coming out of him Bursting Yet I hear no words I see his pain His defeat His helplessness I'm drawn to his eyes Calling out to me Can he see me? Or right through me? I hear no words I want to help him But it's too late And I've already gone to the next piece of art
