Not sure what I was expecting—

Or if I was expecting anything—

But standing in heavy wind,

I hated myself more than you,

Because in the end I was the one

To think that maybe you and I,

In the grand scheme of things,

Had more potential than we do.

I guess I can continue to sing my

Hypocritical song, as long as I am

Trying too hard to please while always

Playing second best, through and through.
