Speaking up

October 25, 2013

Nerves tensed as you walked up to them. Sweat started condensing on your back when they spoke. You knew you had to, for their sake. You tried to tell them, but oh, how difficult it seemed. Any other topic would be easier said. But, no, you can't back down now. You must tell them. "Jesus loves you," you tell them. "He died so you could live." Then they say, "I know, he's great!". That's when the nerves relaxed, the sweat ceased, and your voice became bold. Just one, simple phrase can make all the difference.
