The Exceptions

January 17, 2015

We halt our tongues to impress

When we hide we let them fly

Everyone has a blindfold and we lead

And we lead them off a cliff

No morals

No regrets

No humanity

Watching each and every one

We build scripts assigning wrongfully deserved roles

Eliminating reality altogether

Another’s loss is our gain

No Warnings

Negating explanations

Narcissistic pride

Willing to destroy

War is our sanctuary

Empathy is our foreign enemy

Applying only hate

Negligent actions

Nebulous plans

Nefarious minds

Nevertheless there are exceptions

Niggling the calm minds of puppeteers

Nimbly guiding the drained towards their nirvana

Avenging

Emanating tranquil bliss

Weapons, scaring only with wonder and gratitude for the prison release

Willing with humble hearts
