Panic is like a storm

January 27, 2019

The stares of peers

Their laughter reach my ears

My panic is building.

I try to hide

There is no where to go

I want a way out

My panic is building.

I've run out

My saftey is home

My panic is drifting.

Panic comes quick like lightning

Panic rolls slow like thunder

I've learned to accept the waves of panic

I've learned to accept the tide of thoughts

I'll drift away in the wake of my mind

Until the tide flows away

And I'm back on solid ground.
