Springtime

January 30, 2014

The beauty of a blooming flower

The sun setting on the far horizon

The blue of the sky on the cloudless sky

The green of the grass around

The chill of the crisp breeze flowing

The warmth of a burning flame

The chirping of birds all above

The sweet harmony of the lives beginning

Footsteps sink in with the sounds all around

Our hands meet one another’s

Through the road of peaceful getaways

To find a place we can call our own
