A Minute

April 22, 2019

Come on in, make yourself comfortable

Sit anywhere you’d like

I know you don’t, need a drink

But is there anything you’d like?

Can I ask a question, I’ve got a bunch?

But I’ll leave it up to you

Can I have a minute, to talk?

Just one minute with you

It’s all I need to feel ok

To hear your voice one more time

It’s all I need to move on

And stop being stuck on why

Can you give me anything?

Just to help me live my life

All I ask is for a minute

But I know it’d never be enough
