The Missing Shell

March 1, 2015

Extravert they say, no matter how I act

When in fact, Im not extravert but you see

Extra intraverted was I for a fact

How I am now, not sure what came to be

Doors closed shut, heart locked away

No one needed to know, what it is i had to say

For myself I was fine, not HAPPY

just  OKAY.

Dont let them in, dont get hurt

I reasoned

Little did I know, blocking them out made ME hurt

what was it I was missing?

One day someone showed

another way to live

Open up, deep inside, no,

its to dark for them.

They tried and tried, til one day I broke,

It wasn't easy, but that was my fault

People would listen, i know those who care,

The disfunction was me, my mind i felt tear

All this time I was wrong, there was no need to hide

All it took was one person, who was just as dark inside.

Together we broke eachother, while breaking ourselves

Now No more do I feel like I am missing my shell.

Today is much brighter,

life is less complicated.

The world is much lighter,

No more intimadated.

A nut without it's shell feels barren and weak

But to all others, a nut in a shell is nothing but useless

TIl it has been set free.
