Unchangeable

January 30, 2015

It's like taking a child's favorite toy;

it's not fair and it makes the child cry,

but it is something that can be stopped,

Unlke  so many things.

Like a toy broken in two

with glue and tape it can be repaired.

Unlike hearts that when broken

can not be fixed.

Like a train on its tracks

where it goes is controlled.

Unike disease

that sreads where it pleases.

Like a young kid, quite upset

all that is wanted is candy.

Not unlike so many crying out

that we all chose to ignore.

There is so much that can be changed, for good,

 but it is all overlooked.

We are consumed by the things

that are unchangeable.
