nails

February 6, 2020

please do not come near

if there is light

coming from the cracks in the door

it means i am too scared

frail and weak

it means i can't face anything else

other than the small light i hold in my hands

in that light

the possibility

for us and our love

which we once nailed to the wall above our bed

small

you said

but it will do

i took the nails out

and held them beside the light

maybe with what i have

i can fill up the blank space on the wall

i can open the door

and i can share my light
