Shadow Flame

September 24, 2013

He gallops, fast and furious

A cloud of dust, mysterious

The rider, black, a shadow-kin

He hastens, he is feverish

Now swifter rides the shadow-flame

Through field and town without a name

Then disappears without a trace

And no one knows from whence he came
