Captive Expression

July 11, 2018

A mind of wonders,

Imagination locked inside.

Idle hands,

desperate to be untied.

Expressions bleeding,

through the veins.

From the wild mind,

To dormant hands.

From blood to ink,

crimson black lettering.

Inspiration freed,

the hands unfettering.

Bonds loosed,

words finally flowing free.

The captive freed,

By poetry.
