a burden.

October 19, 2018

to cry

to surround yourself with comfort in your own bed because the outside world is too harsh.

to hate
to consider, even exhaust,  all of the options of escaping the suffocating force you feel succumbed to every minute you’re at home.

to wonder
to question your own self worth and how much you mean to the ones sitting downstairs while you’re crying.
to question if you’re only ally is the screen staring back at you through your tears.
to question if anyone will truly understand the pain of
pretending
everything is ok.

the truth remains unknown but
to when do i stop carrying the burden?
