Stains of the Sky

July 11, 2013
As the amber sun parts with the day,

the sky is decorated with assorted stains that light up the night.

As the stains of the sky slowly fade away into the twilight,

the crescent moon will soon hold its name in the sky.

As the ivory crescent moon is proudly perched in the sky

the ocean is covered in a blanket shimmering diamonds,

and will glisten till the moon parts with the night.

And the bittersweet sun rises to greet the morning.
