pistachio shells

February 8, 2015

pistachio shells

on the ground

dirty litter

all around

fresh fresh rain

in my hair

stiff stiff stench

in the air

watch me

make a fool

with grace

watch the

blood laugh in

my face

sing me songs

of pain and death

give me life

steal my breath

one small roof

overhead

one small word

i am dead

keep me safe

keep me clean

take the stitches

from the seam
