Dead Inside

August 31, 2014

A wasteland of memories rots

Covered by a thick frost.

Demons of every kind roam

The once verdant paradise.

Dreams lay slain in Battlefields

Riddled with the smell of decay.

Scavengers come to pick at corpses

Of once mighty virtues.

The black sky cries tears of snow

over the carnage of the fallen.

While, the earth swallows massive skeletons

erasing any trace of their existence.

A king lies abondoned

Forsaken by all

Forever trapped in this miserable hell

that can only be called the mind.
