He flies

November 4, 2013

He flies, they always catch him.

He flies, why did they fail?

He flies, now alone.

He lands, they lie at his feet as the rain falls.

He rises again soaring the skies, the robin of his mother's dreams.

His face now hidden, his identity a mystery.

Clad in black and red, wielding an extension of his spirit.

He knows his fate if he fails, but still he flies.

He flies beyond his past and into his future.
