Cross the Line

February 26, 2014

It would be so easy

to slide under that boundary line.

I would be so happy

if I could ever, make you mine.

When we touched

we could hesitate to move.

When we hugged

I would meld perfectly, into your groove.

With a whisper into your ear,

you would want to hold me quite near

But there is something that withholds us.

Is it fear? I am not quite clear

Maybe it is the fact,

that someday you will leave, and so will I,

but that neither one of us will cry

because people always seem to leave,

they always seem quick to say goodbye

So come now,

while our time is not yet up,

cross that line.

Ill become yours,

if you become mine.
