Rusty Eyes

October 21, 2014

I rest inside the view you see,

Inside the streets cracked concrete.

I sprout from glossing dew.

The way you see the suns fatigue,

When the days ready to renew.

I am the busy man keeping you afloat.

The only being starving when you have no resource.

I am the one you pray will leave during a dream.

I am the person you call when those dreams aren’t serene.

But I will always be, no matter what you vote.

Will you ever truly know

Just whom I am and whom you tend to show?

I hope one day you realize,

That I am you and whom you view,

I am immortalized within your very eyes.
