Beautiful Rose

August 1, 2014

These feelings have taken their toll
I took your hand you took my soul
You showed me true feeling

Knocked me back and left me reeling

You blessed me
You saved me

Why do you appear in my dreams
Make my head float
And justify these means
The system prevoked
Our hopes slowly choked

Filled with hope and blithe
Steadily breathe into me life
Together we'll cope
Find our destinies and hope

Send shocks from my head to my toes
Remain, unharmed. My beautiful Rose
