Ghost Town

January 14, 2014

I wish we could all rest in pieces.
What would happen if we all were to die?
I wish the world would fade away,
right before the rightful eye.
If you think bad is the worst,
then try to reconsider.
You have to travel life's only course,
and it never fails to be bitter.
So what to do,
when your only life fails?
When there's no going forward,
and knowing you can't go back,
what do you have to look forward to?
When you're living in your past?
Nobody said that this was easy,
nobody ever knows what's right.
All the stress and drama keeps your mind busy,
in a permanent state of an internal fight.
Nobody here to support you,
everybody watches from the side.
Is this really a ghost town,
or am I just in a ghost-filled state of mind?
