Bare-bone Essence

June 5, 2015

No such thing as flawless, perfect, peerless;

Only fallen varmints grubbing helpless,

Guided by old books to find redemption

And some vindication from above.

Perfect spirits all alike and charming,

Bound by traits, desires, worries, wishes;

Finding pulchritude in life's grand herbage

And congregating seamlessly through love.

I, a teen who's stuck in this big system,

Finding out my place in this huge sea,

Aiming high and strengthening my will

To greatly serve and help humanity.

Just another lubricated piston

Firing to make sure we don't perish.

Good thing I'm preserving such a fine world;

For all its problems, it's a place I cherish.
