If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

25 poems·Since December 2022

I am a woman who loves to write poetry to escape the harsh reality of living in the South Bronx in the state of New York. Writing about mostly reality situations and romance. All poems are written by me, and I take a lot of time and effort into my original work. Currently working on a new poem, it's a work in progress. Only have the title of the poem at the moment. Enjoy everyone and don't be afraid to leave a comment or any feedback. It's always appreciated.

Reality

October 6, 2023

Reality-

It's starting to hit me really hard. Every time I walk outdoors with my child, I can sense danger. So, as a mom, it's important to make sure that my son is safe at all times. Don't have time for the bullshit!Reality-Don't kno why people is calling me "Ghost", like I am going to die or something. But, I know that I am still alive today. The devil is a 24/7 worker, so I always know that the devil is a liar in my eyes.Reality-I am going to focus on my son and myself. The future looks so bright, and good for us both. Not going to mess up.
