Left in Darkness

May 29, 2016

Her skin so perplexed,

the markings on her chest leaves her breathless.

She struggles to break the chains that left her in the darkness.

She begins to crumble.

Unable to see a change, she trembles.

The beatings intensifies as she remains astray

She cringes and falls, but her mind refuses to stay

push through the boundaries that were created for thee

Inside her mind she dreads of being me.
