The Worry

January 9, 2015

It was a hot sweaty sticky summer day

As I wander along the beaten path I lay

I stared at the cloud filled sky

I felt way up high

As if I was a midnight dreamer

I thought I saw a streamer

Turns out what I saw was a party

As I sit thinking about this party, I worry.

I worry because what if someone falls off of a cloud.

As if in a moments notice I feel proud.

I decided I don’t need to worry

It all becomes blurry as to why I was worried

I worried  because I am the one on that cloud

I suddenly feel

As if I am falling

Falling off of that cloud.

Into the unknown,

That is why I worry.
