Dearest 3 pound Brain

January 7, 2018

Dearest 3 pound Brain,

How are you up there?
Sorry I went to bed so late last night.
I know you hate that.

Really, I'm just checking in.
I love you, you know.
I think you're really cool.
I just wish I understood you better.
Maybe we can set up a time to talk.
I'd like to ask you what you remember about playing the harp.

Do you really have billions of synapses?

I would appreciate it,
if you stopped freaking out about vomit.
It is a bodily function,
no need for a phobia you goofy organ.

Now that I think of it,
can you also cool it on the abdominal pain?
I know its you that has been causing it.
Maybe next time we get anxious,
let's settle for playing with our rings instead.
That's why we wear them anyways.

Well
I'm sure we will be in touch again soon.
This is your last warning about obsessing over decisions.
It doesn't matter what shirt we wear.

Sincerely,
Body
