Drunk, Not In Love

January 19, 2014

"I know you think I just want sex,
But baby girl that's not true;
I'll take it slow with your body and your mind,
Cause that's how much I want you."

All I can think is why we talkin bout sex,
And boy you don't know nothin bout my mind
As Drunk In Love blasts through the speakers,
And his hands trace the curves of my thighs.

(...I be filthy when that liquor get into me...)

"I want you.
I want to be drunk in love with you,
I want to be the only one for you,
You have to feel the same way too."

(...drunk in looooove...)

I think he really on one tonight,
Spitting game in my ear and holding me so tight;
Trying my best not to give in,
But I just might if he kiss my neck like again.

(...boy I'm drankin...)

"Why you playin games with me?
I know all the right things to do,
Only if you let me show you,
You'll want it even more than I do."

(...we be all night looooove...)

I do...want it
Probably more than he knows,
Just not this way,
With a guy who treats me like some basic hoe.

(...ain't got the time to take drawers off...)

See, he don't understand,
That I'm a person, not a thing;
Instead of asking, he just takes,
Like he's some kind of king.

(...eat the cake, Anna Mae! eat the cake...)

But if you want to know the truth
About why we can't get down
It's cause if I gave you what you wanted
You'd never come back around.

(...I been sippin, that's the only thing keepin me...)

I won't try to make you stay,
I already know we want different things
So have your fun for now
Because we both know how this ends.
