What It Is

August 13, 2013

Poetry drips philosophy

splashes beauty

on the neocortex of my brain.

Poetry is a a Cliff Bar,

condensed energy and substinance to my soul.

Poetry is a shortcut to the heart

through sight, touch, sound, taste, smell.

Easy enough to read in minutes

yet deep enough to contimplate for hours.
