FAREWELL

April 22, 2017

FAREWELL

Cubes of butter,  pieces of dried up paper

Hands cleaning the burnt stove

Sponge, and oil

Never boils

Farewell to man wearing a black suit

Who wrapped his fingers in a freezing washed cable

Farewell to the woman in that pink dress

Using perfume to smell like a welsh candle

Farewell to young boy

Reading the dictionary,  learning the words

Out of his mind

Bones ache,  he cries it hurts

That’s how many words that boy can handle

Farewell to the young girl who was laying on her left side

Drawing a pictures of her favorite cloud

No words,  nor even sounds

Each day will get bigger

Farewell to all who can see

My heart burns for the farewell

The only gift I would leave

Is a bird with bluish feathers

Flying on the soft cement

To let me be free

The moon will be warm

As the Sun freezes the filth

That brought me out this house that I didn’t built

Like a mouse starving for guilt

Searching for what I can achieve

Farewell to me and for what I’ve done

I may be gone for now

But the beginning has just begun.
