America the Beautiful

America the beautiful

The home of the brave

High fly the flag

Until it is burned

Protest, riot, march

Violence and hatred

Flood the streets of our cities

Like beans spilling out of a slit

From a brown sack

Uncomfortably thrown on a truck

Crossing the border

America stands for justice

But how can God bless America

If we are divided by hate?

America the beautiful,

Beautifuly divided by race, religion, and politics.

One strong nation

Two split parties

Three unequal branches

Fourth of July

Hut, two, three, four.

The sound of soldiers marching

After an airstrike

In the hopeless atempt to

Win a war on terrorism.

America the Beautiful

Beautifully broken into millions of individual shards.

America the beautiful.
