Arrogance

Proverbs 16:5

New English Translation

5 The Lord abhors every arrogant person;

rest assured that they will not go unpunished.

Arrogance

Life sometimes to slap us down to keep pride from forming?

It seems that we get carried away by our “own” importance

The self in our old nature loves recognition and admiration

Even in dreams, we transform into an elevated-self in an instance

In the multitude of thoughts even self-will calls out for a vision

In the confusion of recognition the self will proclaim importance

Maybe many are spiritual sick simply because of self’s love illusion

The result will surely turn out ill for the attitude called “flamboyant”

Self-centeredness is the culprit as all things now turn around self

In some cases however it may be profitable for your chosen work

Detrimental for a healthy attitude to be placed in an urn on a shelf

As your accomplishments in your frail existence changes you into a dork
