BECAUSE I LOVE U

Because I love you

You used it as an excuse to get to me

I let myself fall for you

Only to realize you would never pick me up

Instead, you ran over my withered soul

Because I love you

I let you take advantage of my vulnerability

I let your viciousness, treachery, misery, violence torture me

I let you taunt me, haunt me, fool me, abuse me

You brought me down to my knees

I was begging for mercy, every trail was conspiracy

Because I love you

I was paralyzed with sadness, numb to smile

Awake to darkness and misery which seeped through my skin

Causing blood to flow from my ruptured veins

I drowned in the shallow depths of dark oceans

Filled with dark secrets, my heart shattered

Into the tiniest pieces, my eyes were swollen, limbs torn apart

Life was triggering me along

Because I love you

I still cling on to hope that you would change

I still believe that a moment of clarity

Devoured by purity and we could have peace for eternity

So let's start over again for the sake of humanity

Because now there is nothing left, handed down your legacy

But more regret painted on with empathy

Let's make a change because I love you and

I want our children to believe in second chances.
