In The Beginning

In the Beginning I was confined

To the depths of my mind

I was trapped inside

And there was no key

I did not know there was a way out

Of the prison that held who I was

Then came the day I was released

A pencil, the key to my life, was placed in my hand

Now I am forever free

In the Beginning I was confined

And now there are no limits
