Bound For...

Some would say “He’s the man”
Others would refer to his color
The best ones would say he’s my brother

Behind my eyes is a lot of a pain
Because disability rule my days
Always rolling around in a wheelchair
Scared knowing that life isn’t fair
I try to act like I don’t care
While my heart beats like a snare
Reminded when I need the second floor
Reminded when there’s a closed-door
Feelings trying to shake my core
But I’ll continue to soar
Because I'm bound for more
Because I'm bound for...
