Bullies

Bullies, you thought you had me,

With your words and your taunts,

You thought you could break me,

But now, I won't give you what you want.

I refuse to be a victim,

Of your cruel and heartless ways,

I won't let your words hurt me,

Or affect me for endless days.

I used to think I was weak,

That I couldn't stand up to you,

But I've found my strength within,

And now, I know what to do.

I won't let you get to me,

 Or take away my pride,

 I won't let your negativity,

Eat me up from the inside.

I am stronger than you think,

And I refuse to be your prey,

 I'll rise above your cruelty,

And make you fade away.

For bullies, you may try,

 But you'll never conquer me,

I'll rise above your hate, And finally, I'll be free.

So, hear me now, bullies, I won't let you affect my life anymore,

I'm taking back my power, And walking out that door.
