Sheer delicate folds sheering
The splintered floor.
They escaped
With mocking ferocity
At his gaze, tormenting wide eyes;
The clamoring of each memory
Colliding along the sacred passage,
Trusting
To be captured
By her own memory,
To steady the thumping
His stone frightened-heart.
