Do you really hate the way I tie back my hair

Do you really have to pick over what I wear

Can’t you see, can’t you see that I just don’t care

Does it just feel good to have control

We’ve been friends since I can remember

But we’re not who we used to be

Once upon a time we worked together

Now nothing I do is good enough

Do you really hate the way I tie back my hair

Do you really have to pick over what I wear

Can’t you see, can’t you see that I’ll never care

Does it just feel good to have control

How come I can’t bring myself against you

The way you did to me

I guess I’m too soft-hearted

To overthrow this regime

What crime have I committed

That snapped you deep inside?

Surely you understand

The true source of one’s pride?

Do you really hate the way I tie back my hair

Do you really have to pick over what I wear

Can’t you see, can’t you see that I just don’t care

Does it just feel good to have control
