Coconut

You are my hope in a round brown shell.

I pray to God,

That you are not a fleeting mirage,

No,

You are still here in my hands,

Will you satisfy my thirst?

Or leave me dying in the searing heat.

No,

You are here in my hands,

But why are you a torturing demon,

I hear the water inside of you,

Which should be in my mouth.

But no,

You would not open to my command.

Will I die because you are stubborn?

I refuse to,

Heaven have come to me,

Angels are singing,

But, you are here,

Open?

No,

It is not heaven,

But God listen to my prayers,

And would not let me die here on this island alone.

I gulp down the refreshing, sweet water,

Soothing my dehydrated throat.

Energized

I am on this isolated island,

But right now,

I feel like I am in heaven.
