Colorblind

A defect in the perception of colors

black, white, red, yellow

indiscernable, unrecognizable

papers demand to know

minority or majority

special or average

time and time again

struggling Joes get overlooked

Colorblindness

Is this to be our generation?

Unsuccessfulling conquering mountains

Trying to see what is wished to remain unspoken

Equal, but special treatment to some

blind eye to others

Colorblindness

I see no black, white, yellow, red

I see you, a person

A person that no matter what

Minority or majority

I will help you

because everyone needs it

Colorblindness

The choice of this generation

College, Scholarships, Quotas

Good- bye, Good- bye

to singling out minorities

Most of the time

Us average Joes

We need help, too.
