Compare

2 Corinthians 10:12   New King James Version

Limits of Paul’s Authority

12 For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

I am just like the rest like “Here I go again”

Comparing self with standards that I set up myself

No wonder that in this world I don’t make an impression

For better or worse in me, I go down before the bell

The flesh was never made to produce an excuse

It was just provided to house the “better” me

And also, the Holy Spirit, Who came to the rescue

To guide and direct me and show me how to be free

Die to me the issue, set Jesus in me free

Don’t keep Him at a distance in every decision

Take the “what” I am and place it in His service

Without any question to enjoy my preservation

“Be like me, He whispers. Yes I know you can

All you have to do is place yourself in me

I will do the rest without any complication

And you may not notice, that you’ll be renewed”

People will notice glory, that they know it can’t be you

A walking super-natural, as the miracle then is due

Folks notice the Father through love's flowing through

And you won’t be aware of it as you may not have a clue
