Consequence and flesh

Isaiah 65:1-2

Judgment and Final Salvation

65 The Lord says,

“I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help.
I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me.
I said, ‘Here I am, here I am!’
to a nation that did not call on my name.
2 All day long I opened my arms to a rebellious people.
But they follow their own evil paths
    and their own crooked schemes.

Marvel

Amazement ... life itself … dazzling and dreary

Bubbling and velvet … exciting and weary.

Contrast and similarity … death in lively tunes

Scary and popularity … river clay and dunes.

Crippled and fleet of foot … flying high in mines

Throwing up. Romantic mood … race horses and swines.

Total failure … excellence … cream and slimy mud

Ocean free. Lands only fenced … mademoiselle and crud.

Scary show and then to church … shiny car and bills

Love the world. Kill the perch … empty self. No will.

Preservation is what I want! To be preserved as what?

I forgot the things I can't explain and the things I do are flat.

To keep alive what is dead and to admire what’s long gone

makes emptiness all that I see … and contentment forlorn.

No changing my plea … filled with nothing to the brim.

No room to set me free that makes the future very dim.

Is there no hope? Give me a break. The Truth is Jesus Christ.

The part in me without fake … in Him all things are right.
