Cultural Divides

Dear America:

Look around

just for a second.

See the people around you

look at their features

odds are,

they're pretty similar to yours.

White

Brown

Yellow

Black

So many colors to identify as.

But

what if the color wasn't so important

what if

we all just mixed.

Identity comes from so many places

origin,

hobbies,

proffessions.

What if

in America a change was made.

A simple change.

Mix up the lot.

dance and laugh and play

despite the color boundary on the outside.

Make America a true melting pot.
