The Curse

What the hell is going on in the world today?

Blind from staring too long at the sun

Cowards sensitive to the

hysteria catch the disease

and tear their lives to shreds

Just plug your ears, darling

Sing with me

Let's not repeat history

This is all just a figment of our imaginations.

All calamity will disappear while you dream.

Remember how things used to be?

So happy.

When nothing was hidden,

Nothing was suspicious.

I guess war has always been

A part of your life

and I'm determined

to reverse the curse

Just plug your ears, darling.

Sing with me.

Let's not repeat history.

This is all just a figment of our imaginations.

All calamity will disappear while you dream.

I've spent dismal years

trying to dry your tears

and shield you from the world.

I've only now realised my

efforts to be for none.

Baby, it's time for you to shine

You have to know that this is the real world

Your heart may stop and

Your ears may bleed.

I know these are words

you may not want to hear

But all calamity will disappear.
