D-memory

Proverbs 10:7

The memory of the righteous is blessed,
But the name of the wicked will rot.

D-memory

Got to see you yesterday … What is left to say?

I try to remember but it seems another time

It all seems so real … and no other way

Now it seems to slumber in the background of my mind

I had to forget too fast … with company on hand

It seemed my heart moved on … to another dimension

Why does the present pass? Loaded with contra-band

To a place forlorn where pain turns to tension

It seems so long ago now … yesterday now lost history

I gird my loins with dreams to change my memories

Can’t I accept reality as a present from the Lord

Although it brings me pain that my emotion can’t afford?
