The Dawn

Easy was the riddle

You made me solve,

Without doubt

It was the dawn you referred to,

Open yet mysterious;

What else can travel by disappearing

And then reappear

Each day;

The brief appearance of dawn

Indicates a beginning

That wreaks freshness

And compels attention,

Like a pretty face

That beams to attract and

Hold the attention

Be it for a short while

Of those who are awake.
