As Is

If you hate the world, I challenge your rage:
It takes more than one to hold regard.
You pity me for being different... but
I pity you for failing to recognize the worth in it.
Whoever said, "Ignorance is bliss." was ignorant.
A man is as wise as the foolishness he permits.
We all know life isn't perfect... but
Just as the bad is not exempt of reality, neither is the good.
Take some responsibility.
You speak of justice but act on malice,
Living for nothing when your opposition meets its goal.
Was it worth it now that you are alone?
Was it worth it now that no one trusts you?
Life will be your prison until you’re forgiven.
Trust me, I know what it is to be sorry.
Through the trials I realized my error.
I meant all I did but... I never knew it would end as is.
I was once a guilty boy, now a better man.
You made a difference;
You were the force that resulted in this.
Let gratitude be known... now.

This poem made me think about how you don't really know how something is going to turn out until you try it. Many people ask "what if" but they are not brave enough to discover the answer.
